Ola Mae Gilland, 84, of Marion, died Dec. 10, 2005, at Crittenden Health and Rehab. She was a member of Piney Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Carolyn (Harold) Cannon of Marion, Ola Rhea Crider of Marion, Elaine (Ronnie) Shinall of Marion and Connie Gilland of Fredonia; three sons, Vernon (Linda) Gilland of Fredonia, Paul Gilland of Fredonia and Dwight Gilland of Paducah.; 12 grandchildren, Kim George, Suzanne Eberle, Gina Brown, Greg Crider, Tricia Gage, Jonathan Gilland, Rhonda Shinall, Keith Shinall, Jayson Gilland, Michael Gilland, Patrick Gilland and Jennifer Starnes; several great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Gilland; a daughter, Faye George; and two granddaughters, Lori Perkins and Carol Ann Hughes. Her parents were Charles and Lillie Mae Barnes.
Funeral services were Dec. 12 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Rev. Cortis Hill and Rev. Tim Burdon officiated. Burial was in Mexico Cemetery.
