Death Summons Rebecca Bennett, Services Today
Mrs. Rebecca H. Bennett, age 87, of this city, died at the Mary Sherman hospital Saturday morning. She is survived by three brothers, William Hobbs of Kansas City, Tom Hobbs of Oaktown and John Hobbs of Little Rock, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Railsback Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted this morning at ten o'clock with the Rev. J. M. Smith officiating.
Song Services were in charge of Dora Myers with Mrs. Ruth Alexander at the piano.
Pallbearers were Orville Arnett, Ray Hobbs, C. D. Redford, William Mason, Earl Hobbs and Nolan Hobbs.
Flower bearers were Amelia Mason, Jean Arnett, Louise Mason, and Frances Raley.
Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Rose Chapel Church having lived for many years in the New Lebanon vicinity. She recently moved her residence to Sullivan. Burial was at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Carlisle.
