Death sudden to J B Alvey, native of Washington Co died of Heart attack early Tuesday morning at his home at Fulton, Kentucky. Mr J B Alvey, age fifty five years, a native of this county died suddenly at Fulton, KY early Tuesday morning, news of his untimely end coming as a shock to his many friends and relatives in this city and county. Mr Alvey had been in failing health for about three years but no thought of death had been entertained by his family. Deceased was born and reared in the Western portion of this county but in early manhood entered the employ of L C Railway Company having remained with that company for thirty-five years. AT the time of his death and for several years previous, he had held the position of railroad inspector. Surviving Mr Alvey are his widow and two sons, Hugh and Harry Alvey, one brother S R Alvey and one sister Miss Estelle Alvey, Indianapolis, IN. Mrs J L Mudd of this city is a niece. Funeral services and burial took place at Fulton today. Mr Alvey frequently visited relatives in this city an has many friends here who will be grieved to learn of his death.
