Born Nov. 24, 1917, in Vilonia, son of the late Thomas and Eardly Moore Edwards, he was a retired warehouse worker at Kroger. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors are his wife, Mabel Goss Edwards; a son, Gary Edwards of Vilonia; a daughter, Ginger Weaver of Clarksville, Tenn.; a sister, Maurine Burns of Austin (Lonoke County); three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Smith officiating. Burial will be in Cypress Valley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Edwards, Todd Edwards, Glenn Goss, Keith Goss, Chris Culbert and Gordon Higgins.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
