He was born April 11, 1925 in Louisville, Kentucky to Patsy Epperson.
He married Robyn Ann Casella on April 24, 1988 in East Carbon, Utah. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Bill is a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer and Chief Steward after serving twenty-three years and serving in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.
Bill worked as Executive Chef for the Peppermill Casino organization in both Reno, NV, and Wendover, NV, retiring in 1992, and has since settled down with his wife Robyn in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he enjoyed golf, gardening, and his pets, Angel and Peppy.
He is survived by his wife, Robyn Carter; children, Angela Kennedy, Brenda Sweeny, Lori Carter; step-sons, Lonnie Huntington and Sean Huntington; and thirteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Epperson, and step-son, Mikie K. Huntington.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1385 East Spring Lane, Holladay, Utah. Family and friends may call on Tuesday at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive (1495 East), from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at the Church.
Interment: Utah Veteran's Memorial Park, Bluffdale, Utah.
