William Olson Dies at Age 80.

Funeral services for William A. Olson, 80, formerly of the Big Springs area who died following a heart attack last Tuesday in Sioux Falls, were held Friday at the Boon Funeral Home there. Rev. Maurice Wessman officiated with burial at Woodlawn cemetery.

Mr. Olson was born August 24, 1879, near Big Springs where he grew to manhood and farmed many years.

He married Miss Mildred Johnson of Big Springs, a sister of York Johnson of Hawarden. The family moved to Sioux Falls in 1941.

Survivors include the widow; three children, Dr. Forrest Olson of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. Wilma Palmer of Sibley and Mrs. Virginia Mae Johnson of Sioux Falls; two brothers, Frank, of St Louis and Ed of Oakland, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Martin Johnson and Mrs. Emily Tunell, both of Alcester, and 15 grandchildren.
