FREDERICK W. BUSCHMAN
FREDERICK W. BUSCHMAN, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, in Naples, Fla. Born June 3, 1932, he was a graduate of Reynolds High School, Reynolds, Ind., and International Business College, Fort Wayne. A veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War, he was stationed in Japan. He was a 28 year employee of American Hoist & Derrick and retired as a Real Estate Broker. A loyal member of St. Michael Lutheran Church for 51 years, he faithfully served in many positions, including Treasurer, School Board member, and usher. He also enjoyed his many years as an active member of the Dart Ball team, and recently, spending winters in Estero, Fla. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Mildred "Mickey" (nee McCully); son, Jeff Buschman of Gahanna, Ohio; grandchildren, Colton, Hayleigh, Dustin, and Skyler of Delaware, Ohio; sister, Anne (Dwain) Wigner of Monticello; and brother, Paul (Shirley) Buschman of Monticello; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Florence Buschman of Reynolds, Ind. Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation also from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
