HARLEM - Ardele D. Kulbeck, 72, died on Thursday, March 20, 2003, at a Great Falls nursing home of cancer.
Funeral services were held in the Harlem High School gymnasium with burial in the Harlem Cemetery.
Ardelle was born to Knute and Elizabeth (Bjorgebakkum) Kviteberg at Wild Rose, N.D., on Dec. 26, 1930. In 1941 she moved to Nashua with her family. She graduated from Nashua High School in 1949.
Ardelle was working in Havre as a beautician when she met Knute Kulbeck and they were married in Havre on May 11, 1958. They owned and operated the Vita Rich Dairy in Havre and a farm two miles west of Harlem, where they also lived until retiring two years ago and moving to Harlem.
Ardelle was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kalmen Berg; and sisters, Myrtle Stenbakken, Ruth Thomas and Ida Berg.
Survivors include her husband, Knute Kulbeck of Harlem; sons, Terry Kulbeck, Charles (Julie) Kulbeck, Tim (Tana) Kulbeck, all of Harlem; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Ingvald Berg of Riverside, Calif., Harvey Berg of Helena; sisters, Betsy Ouren of Crosby, N.D., Agnes Werzur of Vince, Calif., Alyce Booth of Huntington Beach, Calif., Mayme Collins of Nashua, and Thelma Frey of Billings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
