Death of Mrs. Mary Beshoar. Mis. Mary Beshoar, one of the best known and highly esteemed ladies of the county, died at an early hour on Thursday mornning of last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Levi Barnes, in Idaville.

The maiden name of the deceased was Mary Smith. She was born in Union county, Penn., in January, 1831, being in her 75th year at the time of her death. She was married in Dec., 1849, and came with her husband to White county in 1865, settling on a farm one and onehalf miles north of Monticello.

Mr. Beshoar died that year. Five years later Mrs. Beshoar removed with her family to Burnettsville and remained a resident of that town until her death.

More than half a century ago this good soul joined the Brethren church and ever remained a devoted member. Her gentle and unassuming ways and her kindly words won many warm friends. She will be greatly missed.

The following children survive: Mrs. Alice Barnes, of Idaville; William and Hiram Beshoar, ofBurnettsville; James Beshoar, of Logansport, and Daniel Beshoar, at Monticello. The funeral services were conducted at the Burnettsville Brethren church on Saturday afternoon by Elder Heeter. Interment in the Burnettsville cemetery.
