Henry is a half brother to Anna Marie's other five children. His father is unknown and it has been proven that Eberhard Heinrich Brueggeman is not Henry George's biological father. Henry George was born 10 1/2 months after Eberhard Heinrich died while serving in the Civil War. Henry is not listed as a son of Eberhard Heinrich on Widow Ann Marie's Civil War pension application. Family Tree DNA testing was done to compare the Y-DNA of a direct-line male descendant of John William and of Henry George. The Y-DNA did not match, but there was a match for the maternal DNA, proving Anna Marie was a direct line maternal match and the mother of both men.
