Florence H. Coon, 77, of Stockton, California, former Sioux City resident, died Wednesday in a hospital in Stockton. Services will be Monday in North Sacramento Funeral Home in Sacramento, California. Burial will be in Sierra Hills Memorial Park in Sacramento.
Mrs. Coon, the former Florence H. Luce, was born November 9, 1907, in Lewis Station, Missouri, and moved to Sioux City at the age of twelve.
She married Albert E. Coon. He preceded her in death. She moved to Sacramento in 1970 and most recently had been living in Stockton with her daughter.
Survivors include two daughters, Harriet Ralston of North Highlands, California; and Alberta Manier of Stockton; two sons, Jimmie of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and Darwin of Sioux City; three sisters, Grace Clausen of Mapleton, Iowa; Delores Egger of Rochester, New York; and Norabelle Hayes of Red Bluff, California; two brothers, Kenneth of Sioux City and Donald of Denver, Colorado; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Burial: 05 August 1985, Sierra Hills Memorial Park, Sacramento Co., California
