ARLINGTON - Jeri Dickey Blackwell, a homemaker, died Friday at an Arlington hospital. She was 68.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Blackwell was born in Fort Worth and had lived in Arlington since 1963. She had also lived in Odessa and Graham.
She attended Diamond Hills schools and was a graduate of Paschal High School.
She also attended Texas Christian University.
Mrs. Blackwell was actively involved with the Arthritis Foundation and its telethon for several years and had fought against arthritis since she was 15. She was a member of Fielder Road Baptist Church.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 3145 McCart Ave., Fort Worth 76110.
Survivors, all of Arlington: Husband, James M. Blackwell; daughter, Nancy Blackwell; son, James H. Blackwell; and brother, Ross Eugene Dickey.
