About 1920 in Cattaraugus Co., New York; Ted first married Marian E. Hall. She is the daughter of William Hall of NY (b.1895, d.1956).
After Marian died in 1956 Ted married Elsie Rose Critchlow on April 19th, 1958, also in Cattaraugus Co., NY; and they had two daughters named Edith Marian and Kathryn Rose.
Ted worked for Cattarugus Cultery in Little Valley as the personnel manager and he received several patents for pieces of cultery he designed. He also started the Banton Piano and Electronic Service.
Ted died in the Olean General Hospital after undergoing bypass surgery at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania.
Note: Dessa M. (Thomas) Banton (b.1889, d.1984) is actually his step mother. Which explains why their birthdays are so close together.
