Mrs. Elizabeth Bennett Flagg, 80, who resided at 207 N. Delaware Ave., Brunswick, died Sunday, Aug. 13, at her residence. She was the wife of Claude 0. Flagg who predeceased her in July 1980. Born on March 30, 1909, in Brunswick, Mrs. Flagg was a daughter of the late Sydnor H. and Mary E. George Bennett. Mrs. Flagg was a member of the Brunswick Chapter #97, Eastern Star for 42 years. Surviving are one stepdaughter, Florence Flagg Darr of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two step grandchildren; one niece, Georgia Bennett Pecktal of New York, N.Y.; two nephews, James S. Bennett of Rockville and Gary Bennett of Brunswick. The family will receive friends at the John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick, on Tuesday, Aug. 15, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 10 a.m. from the funeral home. The Rev. Dr. J.P. Roby, pastor of The Peoples Country Church, Winchester, Va., will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mark's Cemetery, Petersville.
