Robert L. Henson, 79 7/23/2008 Robert L. Henson, of Comanche Shores at Lake Coleman, passed away July 22, 2008 in the Coleman County Medical Center. Family visitation will be from 6:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday, July 24, at Walker Funeral Home.
Services will be at 2:00pm Friday, July 25, at the Oplin Baptist Church with Rev. James Teal officiating. Burial will follow at Oplin Cemetery.
He was born March 22, 1929 in Wilson, Texas and had lived at Comanche Shores for the past 17 years. He was married to Winona Mae Yeager in Champion, Texas May 27, 1948. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Emmit and Ella Daniels Henson and was a member of the Oplin Baptist Church. He was a Maintenance Supervisor.
Survivors include: his wife: Winona Mae Henson; one daughter and son-in-law - Valerie Annette and Bruce Smith of Houston; two sons and daughter-in-law - Eddie and Tina Henson of Novice and Greg Henson of Lake Coleman; one sister and brother-in-law - Iva Dell and Tony Oden of Lubbock; brother - Vernon Henson of Missouri; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
