Christina Joi Warson, born May 21, 1960 went to be with her heavenly Father on Oct 12, 2009 after a long struggle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene Ray and Norma Carlene Warson.

Survivors include three brothers, Lonnie Warson of Collins, Mo, David & Kathy Warson of Niceville, FL and Mark Warson of Weaubleau , Mo; two nephews, Jesse and Merry Warson of Springfield, Mo and Brian Warson of Niceville, FL; three nieces, Melissa and Allen McHenry of Collins, Mo, Elizabeth Warson & Andrew Sparks of Crestview FL and Jennifer Warson of Niceville, FL; two great nieces, Tamara Lerssen and Sadie Warson of Springfield, Mo; and two great nephews, Donavin Warson and Kelton Sparks of Crestview, FL; two uncles, Clifford Hall of Collins, Mo and Charles Warson of Chillicothe, Ohio; one aunt, Margaret Lingerfelt of Humansville, Mo; three cousins, Kay Warson and George Beam of Collins, Mo, Jolene Moore of Collins, Mo, and Sinda Nelson of Oregon; her precious dog, Hershey and the one true love of her life, Ken Garfit who stood by her side through the struggle night and day.

Along with her immediate family members, Christina had a host of other close friends and relatives that made a difference in her life. Diane and Walt Weadow, Gary Lynn Peters, Sherry Frank, Jessica Burke, and Melanie Weadow all of Olathe, KS. Rebecca Sims of Collins, Mo; Alicia Dallion of Springfield, Mo; and all of her brothers and sisters in Christ at Humansville Full Gospel Church.

Christina loved her family dearly. She truly enjoyed the time that she had with her brothers and especially her nieces and nephews. Christina never had any children of her own, but she always thought of her five nieces and nephews as her children and if anyone asked, she would say they were hers. She enjoyed where she worked and all of the residents of Lakeshores in Humansville. In the past year she truly found the love of her life. Christina loved spending time with her sweetie, Ken.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Christina Warson. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the Humansville Full Gospel Church with Pastor Matt Underwood officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Murray Funeral Home, Humansville.
