Mary Ann was the daughter of William Walker and Catherine Kimbrel. Mary Ann was the 2nd wife of Nelson Anderson. They were married on 14 April 1843, in Henry county, Indiana. At this time, Nelson's 1st wife had died and there were 4 children at home; Terrell 15, Deliah 14, Ellen 12 and Delphia 10. They had two children: Verlinda and Delana. Mary Ann died at the age of 27. She left Nelson with their 2 children ages 4 years and 3 years. In 1847 Terrel married Mary Ann's sister Rebecca. She only lived 18 months after her marriage.
