MRS. MODESTA ANN DRURY, 82, widow of Charles A. Drury, Sr., died at her home, Stanley, Route 2, at 10 a.m. Friday after a lingering illness. Her husband preceded her in death on January 6, 1947. Surviving are three sons, Arch Drury, Utica, Paul Drury, Stanley, and Charles Drury, member of the Owensboro police force; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Gaw, Detroit, Mich. The funeral will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Peter's church at Stanley, with the Rev. Martin Nahstoll, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be William J. Mulligan, Max Keller, C. M. Dunn, O. C. Jones, W. R. Clark, and Lansing Addkisson. The body is at the Owensboro Funeral home, 734 Frederica Street.
