His wife, Rebecca Folsom, was the daughter of Nathaniel Folsom (230040318) and Aiah-ni-chih-oh-oy-oh Ohoyoh (Choctaw, 1766-1833).

Placide Krebs is buried in Skullyville Cemetery in a grave no longer marked.
The name has been spelled variously, with a single or double "b."
He was the son of Hugo Daniel Krebbs & Louisa LeFlore (LeFleur, LeFlau),
and the grandson of Hugo Ernestas Krebbs, a man who immigrated
from Germany to the New Orleans area in the early 1700s.

Placide married Rebecca Folsom, daughter of Nathaniel Folsom and Ai ne chi hayo.
They resided and raised a large family in Winston County, Mississippi.

Louisa married Henry C. D. Massey. They settled in what is now Pittsburg County, OK,
and founded a large family of that surname. She is buried in Massey Cemetery, near McAlester,
beneath a monument inscribed Louisa Griffith, the surname of her second husband.

7. Edmond Folsom - A prominent citizen of the Choctaw Nation, a lawyer and a judge,
for whom the town of Krebs, Oklahoma, is named.

8. Cillen - Dec. 5, 1827 - Mar. 16, 1884, Skullyville burial #94, Married Tandy Walker,
later Principal Chief of the Choctaws.

15. Rebecca - April 17, 1846 - March 3, 1936, Skullyville Burial #3, Born at Holly Springs Mississippi.
She married Wm. C. A. Riddle, later David C. McCurtain (Burial #60), later Edward Lanier (Burial #2.).
Her daughter by Wm. Riddle, Hearts Delight Riddle, died at age 12 yrs,
and is buried in the McCurtain family lot (#63.)
Her daughter by David McCurtain, David Cornelia McCurtain (Hartshorne) (#55.),
a colorful woman and a militant Choctaw who lived in Skullyville and Spiro,
well into her tenth decade, is buried there as well.
The eloquent monument she raised stands at the foot of her grave. (#32)
