Myra Elizabeth Patterson, daughter of John & Caroline Patterson was born on a stock farm on the Lampasas River, October 16, 1867. She attended Straley public school in a log cabin. She spun the thread and knitted many pairs of men's socks and sold them at 20 cents a pair.

She married Albert P. Bunch on January 27, 1887. They bought a piece of raw land on Sims Creek and improved and operated a stock farm.. Two children were born, Fannie E. Bunch, December 30, 1889, and Willis H. Bunch, June 15, 1898. Mr. Bunch was a baptist and attended church regularly. He died October 4, 1904.

"Aunt Lizzie", as everyone calls her, married J.H. Lockhart November 22, 1906. Mr. Lockhart was a ranchman and belonged to the Methodist Church. He died January 5, 1927. Aunt Lizzie lives in her home at Lometa, and keeps busy piecing quilts, reading the daily paper, and prepares her own meals at an active age of 93. She is a member of the Methodist Church. She is the last living child of John and Caroline Patterson.
