PEORIA, IL - Myra L. Klingman, 95, of Loves Park, formerly of Peoria, died at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at the home of her daughter, Benita Carlson.
Born Aug. 3, 1914, in Gracemont, Okla., to George and Alice Bailey, she married John L. Klingman on Dec. 23, 1937, in Oklahoma City. He passed away on May 4, 2003.
Survivors include her twin daughters, Benita (Bert) Carlson of Loves Park and Marita (William) Johnson of South Beloit; also eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She lived over 30 years in Peoria, Ill., where she was a member of the University United Methodist Church. She and John made many friends in the Peoria area.
Private family services will take place on Friday, June 25, 2010, in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Rockford Chapel in Loves Park. Burial will follow in Binger, Okla.
