Edgar J. Burton, 51, 864 W. Spring, died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Hospital of a heart attack.
Born May 3, 1909 in Royalton, Ky., he was the son of James and Mary Burton.
His mother, Mary, survives in McGuffey. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helen Gage of Ft. Wayne; a brother, Homer of Alger; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Stone of Stock Bridge, Mich. and Miss Susan Burton of McGuffey.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hanson Funeral Home in Alger, with Rev. George Hurt of Kenton officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery in Alger.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon on Friday.
