Service Is Set For Dr. Weinman
Graveside services will be at 10 am Wednesday at Lincoln Memorial Park for Dr. Joseph E. Weinman, 81, of Columbia, Mo., who died Sunday.
Dr. Weinman, who lived in Columbia since 1946, was a Lincoln veterinarian for 22 years. He was graduated from the Kansas City School of Veterinary Medicine in 1913 and was professor emeritus in anatomy at the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Weinman was a 32nd degree Mason and a veteran of WWI. He was a member of the American Missouri and Nebraska Veterinary Medicine Associations and an honorary member of Alpha Psi.
Survivors include his wife, Blanche A.; a son, Donald E. Weinman of Nigeria; daughter, Mrs. Robert (Louise) White of Lincoln; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
