Albert was born to the parents of Clifton A. Sawyer Sr. and Lillian M Bailey in Baltimore.

He passed in his sleep while in St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore. He died of pulmonary edema and hypertensive cardiovascular disease.

He is survived by Brothers: John J and Bernard B Sawyer of Baltimore, Goddaughters Carolyn and Linda Burton of Pasadena and nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed bowling and was the secretary and treasure of the Tuesday night men's league at the Bowl America in Glen Burnie for many years.

Clifton enlisted in the U. S. Army on 1-21-1943 in Baltimore, MD and seperated from the service on 12-6-1945 in Ft. Meade, MD. He was a PFC during WW II.

Arrangements were handled by Singleton Funeral Home in Glen Burnie. Internment was at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens in Whitemarsh.
