Mrs. Elizabeth Karch, 96, of Eastwood Convalescent Home, Wilson, formerly of Easton, died Monday in Easton Hospital. She was the widow of James W. Karch.
Born in Long Pond, Monroe County, she was a daughter of the late Aaron and Elizabeth (Kresge) Bonser.
She was a direct descendant of Conrad Kresge, pioneer settler of Monroe County. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Nazareth.
Surviving are two sons, Arthur of Nazareth and George of Easton R.4; three daughters, Mildred, wife of Marlin Engler of Nazareth R.1, Pauline, wife of Allen Flory of Pen Argyl R.1, and Betty, wife of Joseph Groman of Nazareth R.3; eight grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren and three step-great- grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Schmidt Mortuary, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. A calling hour will be 7-8 p.m. Wednesday.
