Ollie Young seated with Frank Grizzle (believed to be man standing on left) and Doc Young (believed to be man standing on right). The pose appears to be comic, but the Youngs were known to be hard drinkers, men leading troubled family lives. Photo was almost surely made in Paris, Texas, probably in the decade after Word War I, circa 1920, judging from the apparent age of the men at this time. Image scanned from collection of Ollie Young's daughter, Novie Gay Lee at her home in Paris, Texas.
