ALVIN BARTHOLOMEW
Alvin S. Bartholomew, 58, of 125 Wabash Ave., Bath, died yesterday in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. His wife, the former Claire C. Frantz, died in 1969.
Born Nov. 24, 1913, in Weaversville, PA, he was the son of the late William and Sarah Kline Bartholomew.
Mr. Bartholomew formerly was employed by the Penn-Dixie Corp. Plant No. 4, Nazareth R.D. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Bath.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Joyce Ann Haberle and Mrs. Joanne L. DeLuca, both of Nazareth, and Miss Cathy Bartholomew, at home; a brother, Harry, Pennsville, PA; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Druckenmiller, Northampton, four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bartholomew Funeral Home, Bath. Interment will be in Green Mount Cemetery, Bath.
