Mrs. Roxia Anna Travis, 80, a retired practical nurse and a resident of Clarkston for more than a quarter century, died of the infirmities of age at Tri-State Hospital at 3:15 p.m. yesterday.

The wife of William W. Travis, a retired employee of the Camas Prairie Railroad, had been in ill health for more than two months.

She was born in Dade County, MO., on Feb. 17, 1887, the daughter of Isaac and Sarah Divine. She moved with them to Twin Falls when she was 2. She attended schools and grew to maturity there.

She married Travis about 1940 at Camas Prairie, Wash.; and moved with him to Clarkston where she had lived since. Her home at the time of her death was at 521 11th St.

Survivors include her husband, Salem, Ore.; a niece who was raised by Mrs. Travis and who was with her at the time of her death, Mrs. Bonnie Ray Sebastiani, North Highlands, Calif; two sisters, Mrs. O.K. Ells, Colfax, and Mrs. Rosalee Simkins, Spokane; and a brother, J.N. Divine, Valley, Wash.

The private graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday at the Steptoe Butte Cemetery.
