Mrs. Bernice (Blakely) Eckles 110 10th Ave Iron river, pass away unexpectedly Friday Nov 1 at Crystal falls community hospital, where she was a guest for the last two days.
Mrs. Eckles was born Sep 5 1896 in Paris Mich. She had been employed as a practical nurse prior to her marriage. She was married to Edward Eckles Dec 21, 1935 in Detroit where they had resided until moving to Iron River two year ago.
Surviving beside her husband and one sister Mrs. Florence Fralick and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service were at 3pm on Monday Nov 4, from Fell funeral chapel the Rev Clayton Parcels Paster of first Presbyterian church from Iron county officiated.
Interment was the family plot in Rest Heaven cemetery. Fell funeral chapel was in change of the arrangements.
