Henry G. "Zeke" Pyle, 78, of Glenmoore, formerly of Berwyn, died on Friday, Sept. 5, 2008.
He was the beloved husband of June (nee Rudderow) Pyle; father of Whitney Aquilante, and Spencer Pyle and his partner, George E. Lutz; grandfather of Brittney Pyle; and great-grandfather of Caleb Greenleaf. He is also survived by a brother, Robert E. Pyle; a sister, Mary Katherine Renish; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pyle was a member of the Berwyn Fire Company for more than 62 years.
He was a member of Thomson Masonic Lodge #340 in Paoli.
He worked for Mack Services Group and retired in 1995 after 38 years of service.
He enjoyed boating, fishing and animals and was a nature lover, but his greatest love was for his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 640 Berwyn Ave., Berwyn, PA 19312.
Interment will be in Great Valley Presbyterian Cemetery, Malvern.
Viewing will be held on Friday, Sept. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alleva Funeral Home Inc., 1724 E. Lancaster Ave., Paoli.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church at the above address or The Berwyn Fire Company, 23 Bridge Ave., Berwyn, PA 19312.
