Ruby Boyles Callaway, 91, of Granbury, passed away Friday, January 1, 2010 in Granbury.
She was born February 21, 1918 in Normangee to her late parents, Carl Drew and Cena Robinson Drew, had lived in Granbury for the last 8 years, previously lived in Baytown for 43 years, was a retired nurse from Happy Harbor in LaPorte and one of her favorite pastimes was to compete in local 5K runs.
Ruby was a former member of Wooster Baptist Church in Baytown and Woodforest Worship Center Church of God in Channelview.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Howard Boyles and Callie Callaway; Step-son, Dane Callaway; grandson, Matthew Boyles and all of her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sons, William "Bill" Boyles and his wife Helen of Granbury and Howard C. Boyles of Baytown; Grandson, Zeke Boyles of Stephenville; sister-in-law, Viola Arnett of Crockett and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the funeral home.
