Mrs Elmer Shockey Is Called by Death
Mrs Lettisia Jane Shockey, 74, widow of Elmer Shockey and a former resident of Delphi, passed away Sunday evening at 8:45 o'clock at the home of her son, Edward Shockey, 401 North Twenty-fourth street. She had been ailing for several years and confined to her bed for a week. Mrs Shockey leaves five sons, William E, Wilfred E, George, Edward and Harry all of Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs Irene Larimore and Mrs Florence Snowberger, of Delphi; two brothers, Robert Crone and Henry Crone also of Delphi, also 38 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mr Shockey died July 29, 1932. The body was removed to the Grimm funeral home in Delphi where services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev Howard Jenkins officiating. Interment in Morning Heights cemetery at Delphi.
