Inscription

Erected in memory of Robert Parlan who died 21st April 1850 aged 53 years and his spouse Jane McGlashan who died 12th August 1851 aged 56 years. James Parlane their son who died at McKeanston on 14th June 1890 aged 67 years. Mary Harvie Jenkins his wife who died at McKeanston 18th July 1881 aged 81 years and of their son Robert Parlan died 28th January 1928 in his 83rd year. Catherine Grey, wife of the above Robert Parlan died 11th October 1942 in her 82nd year, also his daughter Mary who died 17th March 1905 aged 1 year and 8 months
