Anton Bitter, 70, well known Dubuque tailor, died at Mercy hospital Saturday morning at 8 o'clock. Mr. Bitter had been in poor health for several years, and his condition had been serious for the last month.
The funeral will be held Monday morning from the Didesch Funeral home to St. Mary's church, where a mass of requiem will be offered at 8 o'clock. Burial will be made in Mount Calvary cemetery.
Mr. Bitter is survived by his sister, Mrs. Peter Specht, Dubuque; his brothers, Joseph, Spokane, Wash., Andrew, St. Paul, Edward, Sioux City, Albert, Dubuque; and by a number of nieces and nephews.
