ALBERT BITTER
Albert Bitter, 67, died at his home, 1658 Iowa street, Tuesday evening at 5:55 o'clock. The funeral will be held Friday morning from the home to St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock. Burrial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.
Mr. Bitter was born in Dubuque May 6, 1867, and had lived all his life here. He was a member of the Catholic church, an attendant at St. Mary's church and a member of the Holy Name society of that parish.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Kress Bitter; two daughters, Eleanore and Marie, all of Dubuque; his sister, Mrs., Peter Specht, Dubuque; and his brothers, Joseph, Spokane, and Edward, Sioux City. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.
