Marquis "Quise" Dimir Anderson-Merriam, age 23, departed this life suddenly on Saturday, November 28, 2009.

Beloved father of Marquis Perry-Merriam; loving son of Marrianne Merriam and Mark Anderson; brother of Ariff McLauren, Janine Lee, Markia Thompson, Shomari and Iris Anderson, Mark Thompson, Jasmine Allen, Cartier Johnson, Amari Anderson. He is the grandson of Mildred Wilson, Evelyn Anderson, and the late Dimberu Merriam and Ira Anderson.

He is also survived by a special friend, Shanay Perry, the mother of his newborn son; many cousins, aunts, uncles, other family and friends.

Funeral 11 am Tuesday, December 8, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2200 N. Claymont Street, Wilmington 19802, with viewing from 9-10:45 am only. Interment in Gracelawn Memorial Park.
