James Clifton Anderson, who retired from Chevron as a truck driver after many years, died Wednesday at an area hospital. He was 83.
Anderson was a native of Birmingham and a resident of Eight Mile.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Anderson and Frank Edmond; two brothers, Melvin Anderson and John Anderson; two sisters, Ruby Davis and Delores Counselman; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. until the
1 p.m. service at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home in Semmes. Burial will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home, 6512 Grelot Road, Mobile, AL 36695; or Victory Health Partners, 3750 Professional Parkway, Mobile, AL 36609.
