John L. Beasley
Miltonvale - The funeral for John L. Beasley, 89, Miltonvale, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Miltonvale Christian Church. Burial will be in the Miltonvale Cemetery.
Mr. Beasley died Tuesday at the St. Joseph Hospital, Concordia.
He was born July 1, 1889, in Macyville, north of Glasco, and was a life-time Cloud County resident. He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Beasley was a member of the Highland Baptist Church, north of Glasco.
Surviving are his wife, Mary, of the home; a son, Marvin, Clay Center; two daughters, Mrs. Clarine Hauck, Miltonvale, and Mrs. Charlotte Mottin, Shawnee Mission; a brother, Tom, living in California; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Miltonvale Senior citizens Organization.
