Vivian Alouise Lewis Carroll
Vivian Alouise Lewis Carroll, a Bible teacher for more than 40 years, died Monday. She was 78. Mrs. Carroll, a native of Arkansas and a longtime resident of Memphis, Tenn., had lived in Mobile since 1970. She was a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Victor Wayne Carroll of Mobile, Rodger Taylor Carroll of Athens, Ga., and David Allen Carroll of Memphis; one daughter, Carolyn Alouise Neese of Mobile; one brother, Francise Marion "Russ" Russom of Memphis; three sisters, Aileene Reize of Owensborough, Ky., and Valeria Hazlinsky and Doris Hood, both of Memphis; and 15 grandchildren. The service will be at noon today at Serenity Funeral Home. Burial will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
