Francis M Wagner

Francis M. Wagner, 90, of 1014 Fourth St. Kiel, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday morning, May 14, 2003.
He was born Jan. 31, 1913, in the town of Liberty, son of the late Albert and Mary Gries Wagner. He attended Badger school and St. Gregory School in St. Nazianz. On Oct. 7, 1939, Frances married Elda Rabe at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. Elda preceded him in death on Feb. 26, 1987.
Francis worked as a mechanic all his life. He worked for Hingiss Inc., for 27 years and Vogel Chev/Olds, Kiel for 11 years, retiring in 1978. He also was the church custodian for several years.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel; the Kiel Historical Society; and the Kiel Senior Citizens. Francis enjoyed dancing, golfing, bowling, gardening, traveling and woodworking, especially making dollhouses. He also belonged to several card clubs.
Survivors include one daughter, Gina Daly of Manitowoc, and one granddaughter, two great grandsons; special friend, Milda Wollersheim; brothers and sister, Clarence (Marion) Wagner of St. Nazianz, Marie (Kenneth) Bonde of Milwaukee, John (Florence) Wagner of Wrightstown; two sisters-in-law, Lillian Wagner of Sheboygan and Adeline Wagner a resident of Calumet Homestead Rehab Center, New Holstein; brothers and sisters-in-law, Florence and Herman Binversie, Eldon Fluhr and Betty Rabe, all of rural Kiel; one son-in-law, Michael F. Daly of Manitowoc.
He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Theodore and Amanda Wagner, Herbert and Louise Wagner, Walter Wagner, Henry and Gertrude Wagner, Steven and Sally Wagner and Alice Wagner.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel, the Rev. Aaron Schoenike officiating. Burial will take place in the Kiel cemetery.
