William E. "Bill" McLemore, 87, of Poteau died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, in Poteau. He was born Sept. 14, 1922, in Oklahoma City. He was the widower of Lena McLemore. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in McCurtain with burial at Old Bokoshe Cemetery under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau. He is survived by a daughter, Mary Willmon of Carlsbad, N.M.; two sons, Gary McLemore of Fayetteville and Williams McLemore Jr. of McCurtain; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Gary, Billy and Dustin McLemore, Marky McCullar, Benny Willmon and Paul Orr. The family will visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
