He was a retired employee of CBS Toys Inc., Herndon; was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Herndon, and Lodge 702, F&AM, Herndon.
Surviving are his wife, Loella M. Welker Radel; three daughters, Marian Landis of Millersburg RD 1, Carol Zerby of Virginia Beach, Va., and Diane Roth of Herndon RD; five sisters, Edna Radel of Millersburg, Sylvia Docky of Pillow, Bertha Gonsar of Trevorton, and Martha Hoover and Leah Weaver, both of Elizabethville; five brothers, Harry of Boynton Beach, Fla., Franklin of Penbrook, Paul of Dauphin RD, and Dean and Mark, both of Elizabethville; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at his church with the Rev. Robert A. Kerchoss officiating. Burial will be in Herndon Cemetery.
