Graveside services for Jennie Powell were held at Highsmith Cemetery at 2 p.m.Saturday,October 24 1992 with Rev.Wes Brown officating.Arrangements were under the direction of O'Bannon Funeral Home.
Mrs Powell was born in Sullivan on October 25,1902 to James Jefferson and Ada Elizabeth Allen Davis.She married Dan T.Powell in 1922 in Lulind Tx.She was a clerk and had worked for the Walker Bros.Company from 1954 until the store closed.
Mrs Powell died Friday,October 23,1992 in Centaln

Survices,include her sons Daniel T.Powell and his wife,Maxine of Austin and James W.Powell of Luling.three sister,Louie Belland,Emma D.Bollock and Foy D.Ross,all of luling Tx a brother Joe Emmet Davis of Gonzales;two grandsons Jim Powell of Austin and Chris Powell and his wife of Luling; and four greatgrandsons.
