Lillian Sylvestor, formerly of Chester County
She was the wife of the late Lewis H. Sylvester.

Born June 29, 1905, in Kennett Square, she was the daughter of the late Levi C. and Lucy A. Longden Hanna.

She moved to Middletown in 1991 but spent most of her life in Chester County.

She was a member of the Baptist Church of West Chester, the Baptist Women's Association, Sunshine Class of the Baptist Church, Circle of the King's Daughters, Past President of Veterans of WWI Auxiliary #59, Past Noble Grand of Florentina Rebecca Lodge # 203, Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 134 of W.C. and the Lady Rebecca lodge #136 of Paoli.

She worked as a Seamstress for W.C. Laundry.

She is survived by two sons: David H. Smith of Burke, Va. and Thomas E. Smith of Coudersport; one sister, Ella Carr of Cumberland, R.I.; four grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two brothers: Jacob and George Hanna; and three sisters: Ruth Clouser, Alice Styer and Adaline O'Neill.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 10 a.m., Saturday, June 24, at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home Inc., 410 N. Church St., West Chester, 610-696-1181, www.drsfh.com.

Visitation hours will be Saturday, from 9 to 10 a.m., at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Green Mount Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the Baptist Church Youth & Missionary Fund, 221 S. High St., West Chester, PA 19382, or the American Diabetes Foundation, One Plymouth Meeting, #520, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
