Mrs. Fredericks A. Perkins died at the family residence of her father, Captain Daniel Goos, in Goosport, last Wednesday evening at 7:30 o'clock, at the age of forty years. Mrs. Perkins was the widow of the late Reese W. Perkins and a resident of Westlake, and was the efficient postmistress at that place. The funeral services were conducted at residence by Rev. C. Van de Van, of the Catholic church, and the remains were laid to rest in the family burial grounds, at 4:45 o'clock Thursday afternoon, in the presence of a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. Mrs. Perkins leaves one child, Miss Nellie, and a host of other relatives to mourn her loss. The Commercial extends its sincere sympathy to the bereaved ones in this, their hour of grief.
