Glenn Jerry Green, 71, died December 27, 2009, with his family by his side at his home in Kingsport, Tennessee. Mr. Green was born March 23, 1938, in Maysville, Kentucky, to Rufus and Effie (Adkins) Green. He moved to Westerville, Ohio in 1952 and graduated from Westerville High (56). He leaves his sweetheart, friend, and wife of 49 years, Nancy Graham. Mr. Green retired in 1998 from General Electric, Special Materials Divisions, in Worthington, Ohio. He and Nancy moved to Florida in 2000 and to Tennessee in 2005. An avid motorcyclist, Glenn was an active member of the Harley Owners Group and rode at every opportunity. Also an avid handy man and woodworker, he built custom cabinets and fixtures for every need. Few times were more special to him than the time riding the countryside on his Harley Davidson or puttering in the basement with his tools and workbench. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert. Mr. Green is survived by his wife; sons, Jerry Green (Suzy) of Redlands, CA, and Ben Green (Jamie) of Westerville, OH; daughter, Anita Trotter (Will) of Damascus, MD; and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Vivian Johnson and Hazel Britton of Ohio; brother, Milford Green of Michigan; step brothers and sister; brother-in-law and best buddy, George Graham; and nieces and nephews.
