Deceased Name: Grace E. Moyer
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2001, in St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Portland for Grace E. Moyer, who died Feb. 21 at age 88.
Mrs. Moyer was born March 4, 1912, in Arkansas City, Kan. Her maiden name was Cannon. She moved to Portland in 1943 and worked in the shipyards in Vancouver, Wash., during World War II. She later was a sales clerk for Fred Meyer for 10 years until becoming a homemaker. She was a member of the church. In 1932, she married Lawrence Moyer; he died in 1995.
Survivors include her daughters, Christine Hendrick and Phyllis Aiken; son, Lawrence E. II; and sister, Ruth Isobel Decker.
Interment is in Sunny Chimes Memorial Garden. The family suggests remembrances to Special Olympics. Arrangements are by Telophase Cremation Society of Portland.
