Graveside services for James F. Boggs Sr. will be held today at 3 pm in Magnolia Cemetery, with the Rev. Charles Nicholson officiating. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Boggs, 78, of Jackson, died Monday, March 15, 1999, at the Mississippi Veterans Home. He was a retired teacher and a member of the VFW Post 49. Survivors include a son; James F. Hayes of Cody, Wyoming; a sister, Mildred Hughes of Meridian; and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, William Henry Hayes.
