Roy E. Alberts, 91, of Denver passed away Sept. 3, 2009. Roy is survived by two sisters Leona, and Idela, both of Michigan, and three sons Roy, Robert, and Gary all in Colorado, and five grandchildren. Roy was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Ernestine.
Roy served in the Army during World War II and fought in the Rhineland campaign. Roy will be laid to rest Sept. 11 at 11:15 at Ft Logan National Cemetery, staging area C. Published in Denver Post on September 10, 2009
