Jeannette Austin Jennings, 64, of Mexia, Texas, passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at her residence. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Smith officiating. Burial will at Bold Springs Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at the funeral home.
Jeannette was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Jack and Madglene (Kruger) Austin. On Dec. 20, 1963, she married Larry Jennings in Waco and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by brother, John E. Austin and infant brother, Franklin Austin.
Survivors include her husband, Larry L. Jennings, of Mexia; daughter, Vickie Erickson and husband, John, of Clifton; son, Larry W. Jennings, of Mexia; grandchildren, Chelsea and Kevin Erickson, of Clifton, and Dylan Jennings, of Mexia; sisters, Lillie Motacek and husband, Larry, of Mexia, Shirley Bone, of Carthage, Miss., and Barbara Grady and husband, John, of Tacoma, Wash.; brothers, C. Jack Austin and wife, Celia, of Gholson, and Hollin G. Austin and wife, Delane, of Waco; and many nieces and nephews.
